RIDGID Awards PHCC Scholarships
RIDGID® has awarded four scholarships through the Educational Foundation of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association (PHCC) to students enrolled in plumbing-heating-cooling apprentice programs. PHCC administers the scholarship program, which is designed to attract new talent essential to the future of the plumbing and HVAC/R industry, and is also responsible for selecting the award winners. Scholarship recipients will receive up to $1,000 in tuition assistance and $1,500 in RIDGID tools. 2011/09/07
Plumbing Professors Receive Job of The Year Award
Plumbing Professors was awarded Job of The Year for their epoxy lining work on rain water conductors in a historic State of Ohio building. In need of repair were 700 feet of water conductors that were encased in architectural limestone before the civil war. Working after hours and “behind the scenes,” the crew completed the project on schedule, with virtually no disruption to the operation of the historic building. 2011/08/17

ITT Corporation’s Water and Wastewater group has won the 2011 Innovative Technology Award from the WEF. Bio-Microbics Receives Kansas Export Award
Bio-Microbics, Inc., headquartered in Shawnee, Kansas, has been chosen for the 2011 Kansas Governor’s Exporter of the Year Award announced by Gov. Sam Brownback on June 29 at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.
