ECD Introduces MVS10 and MVS17 Ammonium Sensors
Water treatment engineers in need of a versatile and cost-effective Ammonium measurement solution will find that the new MVS10 and MVS17 Ammonium pIon Sensors from Electro-Chemical Devices (ECD) provide a stable and economical in-line measurement platform, helping plants and processes operate smoothly and efficiently with lower operating costs. 2012/01/31
Simple Solution Introduces Air Release Valve Odor Filter
Simple Solutions announces the introduction of a new air release valve odor filter. The Wolverine Brand air relief valve filters (ARV-1.2 and ARV-5) are small, activated carbon filters designed to fit in close quarters for mounting to air relief valves (CAV). 2012/01/30
Biowater Technology Offers Energy Efficient Biological Treatment Systems
Biowater Technology announces their energy efficient biological wastewater treatment systems that save space and are extremely energy efficient. The newest design was released in 2011. The CFIC® has all of the traditional benefits of the biofilm process but with new features. 2012/01/22
Membrana Introduces Liqui-Cel Membrane Contactor
Membrana-Charlotte, a leading membrane and degassing device manufacturer, is pleased to introduce the New 14 x 40 Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactor to its product family. The introduction of this deaeration product extends the Liqui-Cel® product line’s capacity from 400 gpm to 550 gpm (125 m3) in a single device. This represents a >30% increase in capacity and makes the 14 x 40 the largest membrane contactor degassing device available in the world. Larger flow rates are handled by piping multiple contactors together in parallel. 2011/10/26
Airmaster Introduces Energy-Saving Aerator
The patented new aerator—the Turbo X-Treme—is a high-efficiency, floating/surface aerator that is powered by an energy-saving 25 h.p. motor. It incorporates a “turbo” blower to achieve high-capacity water movement with maximum aeration and mixing incorporated in a discharge manifold. 2011/09/28
Blacoh Introduces Flow-Through Dampener
Blacoh Fluid Control recently announced a new sanitary flow through dampener specifically designed for hygienic applications that require clean-in-place components. Part of their SENTRY line of pulsation dampeners, inlet stabilizers and surge suppressors, the inline flow through design of the new SENTRY CIP dampener eliminates product holdup while the self-draining single body construction allows for easy clean-in-place and simplified maintenance. The flow through design is also gentle on delicate products, and ideally suited to handling slurries and viscous fluids. 2011/06/01
Orival Offers Water Filters
Orival Filters protect heat exchangers and prevent clogging of nozzles, tubes and other narrow passages by removing dirt particles down to micron size, of any specific gravity, from once-through and recirculating cooling water systems. 2011/05/12
Entex Technologies Offers Webitat Module Treatment System
Webitat is a module configuration containing fixed film BioWeb media and having integral aeration for mixing control and oxygen transfer. The media contain hundreds of thousands of small polyester filament loops in a ropelike hexagonal matrix on a stainless steel frame. The surface of the loops becomes the site where bacteria grow, thrive and multiply as they consume the organics in the wastewater for their food supply. 2011/03/17
Siemens Introduces AquaCarb 1240CAT Catalytic Carbon
Siemens Water Technologies introduces AquaCarb 1240CAT catalytic carbon, an addition to the company’s Westates carbon product line for the North American market. It uses coconut shell-based carbon specially processed to offer enhanced performance capabilities over traditional catalytic carbons in water treatment. The new product can provide improved results in water quality targets for chloramine, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) removal. 2011/02/09
Infiltrator Offers EZflow Drainage System
The lightweight and easy to install EZflow by Infiltrator gravelless drainage systems save time and money while eliminating the problems inherent with gravel drainage systems. These flexible pipe systems composed of polystyrene aggregate enclosed in a woven geotextile mesh are ideal for trench, curtain, landscape, foundation, retaining wall, and interceptor drains. 2011/01/26
