Highland Manual Oil Interceptors (MOIs) help many industrial, commercial, municipal, and retail facilities with vehicle storage, maintenance, fueling, and washing areas comply with the EPA's Sewer Pretreatment Regulations.

Highland MOIs are designed to trap sediment and retain free floating oil and grease from wastewater discharged from industrial and maintenance area floor drains such as those found in aircraft and vehicle maintenance, storage, and washing facilities.

MOIs prevent the discharge of sediment, oil, grease, and other substances harmful or hazardous to the building drainage system, the public sewer, or sewage treatment plant or processes.
