McVicker Receives Diplomate Water Resources Engineer Credential

COSTA MESA, CA - April 19, 2011 - WastewaterPR.com - Mesa Consolidated Water District (www.MesaWater.org) District Engineer, Robert (Bob) R. McVicker, P.E., has met the requirements for the Diplomate Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) credential from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineer Board of Trustees (www.AAWRE.Org).

Mesa Consolidated Water District (www.MesaWater.org) District Engineer, Robert (Bob) R. McVicker, P.E., has met the requirements for the Diplomate Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) credential from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineer Board of Trustees (www.AAWRE.Org). He has surpassed the professional project experience, educational background, and expertise required for this certification level. Mr. McVicker is being honored for this achievement at a diplomate induction ceremony at the EWRI World Water and Environmental Resources Congress in Palm Springs, Calif. on May 24, 2011.

Mr. McVicker has also been selected by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to serve a three-year term on the Wells Standards Advisory Board (WASB). The WASB is comprised of industry experts, and convenes annually to counsel the county’s Health Officer concerning Orange County’s principles for well construction and abandonment.

Mr. McVicker joined Mesa Consolidated Water District in 2001 as District Engineer and has more than 27 years of experience in water resources engineering in the both public and private sectors. He earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Water Resources and Hydrology) from Utah State University, and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University.
