Roadnet Technologies Names Akopiantz Chief Financial Officer

Roadnet Technologies Inc. has selected Erik Akopiantz as Chief Financial Officer for the Baltimore-based international fleet management technology company. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Paranet Solutions, Inc.

In his new position, Mr. Akopiantz will manage and direct all financial activities and planning strategies for the vehicle routing and scheduling company and will oversee the accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and compliance functions. His responsibilities include forming and strengthening relationships with financial institutions, assisting with long-range strategic planning and business forecasting, and executing strategies that achieve the most efficient cash flow and money management practices.

Mr. Akopiantz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Vermont and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University, where he was honored as a Jones Scholar. He presently resides in Towson, Maryland.
