Don joins Signature as a leading expert in composite matting and temporary site access products for national and international markets.

Don joins Signature as a leading expert in composite matting and temporary site access products for national and international markets. Don has extensive experience in product development, market penetration, and technical sales and will be responsible for sales of Signature’s MegaDeck product line.

Prior to joining Signature, Mr. Couvillon was a senior consultant for Sigma Consulting Group Inc., where he led corporate business development and marketing for a thriving civil engineering firm. He is a trained mechanical engineer familiar with the rigorous engineering requirements of the oil exploration and production industry and will be involved in the continued improvement, product development, and growth of Signature’s heavy duty matting line. From 1997 through 2009, Mr. Couvillon was instrumental in the design and development of the first heavy composite oilfield matting and was responsible for introducing these products to the global marketplace. He served as the Director of International & Domestic Sales & Marketing for the world’s first commercialized composite matting and understands the ever changing needs of the marketplace.
Mr. Couvillon had formerly worked in the petro-chemical industry for nine years, developing and designing various operational components, production facilities, foundations, and site development while and obtained a unique understanding of civil structural systems.
