David Wall, Western Area Business Manager for PolyJohn Enterprises, was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Wall was a vocalist and guitarist for Sequel, one of the most popular bands in Oregon in the 1970s and 1980s. In addition to being one of the top-drawing bands in the state, Sequel played with or was an opening act for a number of the best-known supergroups of the era, including KISS, Journey, Sammy Hagar, Bryan Adams, Triumph, Kenny Loggins, Night Ranger, Loverboy, The Tubes, Greg Kihn, Aldo Nova, and Ice House.

On its website, the Hall of Fame noted that Sequel received critical acclaim for a “harder rock sound combined with great vocal harmony and songwriting.” The other members of the band were Greg Georgeson, Todd Jensen and Grant Roholt. From 1987 to 2006, the band occasionally reunited for some well-received encores, opening for bands including Eddie Money, Loverboy and KISS. While Wall continues to manage the PolyJohn Distribution Center in Hillsboro, advising portable restroom operators throughout the Pacific Northwest on products that will help them build their portable sanitation rental businesses, Sequel’s music continues to be popular on the radio, and CDs and downloads are available through iTunes, Amazon, eBay and CD Baby.
