Rotonics Manufacturing Inc. announces the latest addition to its highly successful line of refuse products, the Private Green.

Designed for multiple uses including a portable toilet, medical testing station, shower, deer blind, storm shelter, and ice fishing shack, the 88 inch-tall unit features flat removable side panels. These create a true knock down (KD) unit that can be easily transported and compactly stored.

The Private Green’s design allows the unit’s colors to be quickly changed to meet customer requirements and damaged panels to be swiftly replaced. Only hand tools, no air, are necessary to remove and replace each side panel, so the on-site process does not require any special skills or labor intensive methods. Additionally, Private Green pieces do not require processing prior to installation, ensuring that the material properties do not change.

Molded out of tough yet lightweight polyethylene, Private Green is made with built-in steel reinforcements to eliminate the need for removal of individual aluminum pop rivets when breaking the product down. Each unit is free-standing, which creates smooth, unstressed sides and allows for the use of multiple materials as side sheets. Product designer Mike White anticipates the Private Green unit will benefit various industries which currently only use pre-assembled units. Replacing side panels in order to change the unit color saves both money and time—thousands of dollars and hours of work with specialized tools. Additionally, since the units can be transported in their broken-down state and assembled on-site, it simplifies the transportation process and allows more units to fit in a standard container—120 Private Green units as opposed to 12-14 current units.
