Wastequip Expands Senior Leadership Team

In conjunction with the move of its corporate headquarters to Charlotte, N.C., Wastequip has named three new senior leadership team members including chief financial officer, chief information officer and vice president of human resources.
Wastequip has named Steve Svetik as chief financial officer with responsibility for finance and treasury, human resources, information technology and environmental health and safety. His background includes extensive financial leadership with Masterbrand Cabinets, Reliance Electric and KPMG, among others. In his most recent role Svetik served as chief financial officer at Valley National Gases. In addition to over thirty years of accounting and finance experience, Svetik holds an MBA from Cleveland State University and is a certified public accountant.
Rusty Andrews has been named chief information officer for Wastequip. Andrews’ previous experience includes roles as director of information systems/chief information officer at Coca-Cola Bottling Company and most recently, senior vice president of hosting and CIO at TITAN Technology Partners. Andrews has a bachelor’s degree in business from Appalachian State University.
Wastequip has added Sherri Satterfield as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Wastequip, Satterfield held leadership positions in human resources at SunAlliance and Centex Construction. In her most recent position she was director of human resources at Muzak, LLC. Satterfield has a bachelor’s degree in business from Montreat College and is completing her master’s degree in human resources from Clemson University.
